Before you do that I humbly draw your attention to the Wall of Shame (patent pending, not really)

(and while I'm sure you will likely not have these intentions)

This is a list of dumb stuff other people have tried so now I have to put it here:

I do not accept unsolicited friend requests on Discord

Please do not contact me asking for me to put you in contact with someone else or send something to them.

Do not contact me asking me to commit cybercrime for money I will not accept EVER!

(and it's a really bad idea in general)

I will NEVER join any groups that promote hacking for political purposes (often called hacktivism)

Do not contact me asking how you can commit cybercrime.

I cannot hack an account or system back for you or help you recover stolen or lost funds.

I do not endorse crypto currency projects of any kind and neither does Ducky Software Inc.

If you see a crypto project with my name, aliases, perceived endorsement or Ducky Software's name attached it is a SCAM
(Always exercise caution when investing in any asset and consult a trained professional)

Getting started in Cybersecurity/Computer Science (A far from comprehensive list of resources):

First of all if your looking to get started in cybersecurity I am by no means an expert and there are hundreds of people more qualified who you should probably seek advice from but (if your for some reason you are still here) here are some resources I find useful.

Rapid7, Huntress Labs, Google Cloud Security and Mandiant (now part of Google Cloud) almost always have good reports or case studies.

Some great people to follow for a wide variety of cybersecurity related content are: John Hammond, Jack Rhysider, Network Chuck (Chuck Keith),

Daniel Card, Deviant Ollum, Dr. Anton Chuvikan and others.

Apologizes if I missed anyone this was just off the top of my head.

Also get a subscription to TryHackMe (THM) or Hack The Box (HTB) (for my money I prefer THM)

You might also want to consider getting yourself setup with a Hypervisor (Type 1) like that of QEMU, VirtualBox or VMWare (I prefer VMWare for Mac or VirtualBox for Windows)

It's also probably a good idea to get familiar with Windows or Unix filesystems! Hack The Box has a Learning Path called
"Operating System Fundamentals" to help you get familiar
